24 Hour Emergency Plumber — Surrey, South West London & Sussex

A plumbing emergency is anything causing uncontrolled water, loss of water supply, or an unusable only toilet. The 24 Hour Plumber takes emergency calls at any hour, every day of the year, across the GU, KT, SW, CR, RH and BN postcode areas. If water is escaping, turn off the internal stop tap first, then call.

Water damage gets worse by the minute. A joint that starts weeping at 11pm can bring a ceiling down before morning, so emergency plumbing is judged on two things: how quickly someone answers the phone, and whether they arrive able to finish the job.

We take emergency calls at any hour, seven days a week, including bank holidays. Calls are answered by someone who can talk you through isolating the water before an engineer is on the way — that first two minutes often saves more damage than the repair itself.

What's included

  • Making the property safe and isolating the water supply
  • Tracing the source of the leak, including under floors and behind walls
  • Temporary containment where a permanent fix needs parts or daylight
  • Permanent repair on the same visit wherever parts allow
  • Clear explanation of what failed and what it will cost before work starts

When to treat it as an emergency

  • Water running through a ceiling or light fitting
  • A burst or split pipe you cannot isolate
  • No cold water anywhere in the property
  • A blocked toilet in a property with only one WC
  • Sewage or waste water backing up into the property
  • A leak affecting a downstairs or neighbouring flat

How the job runs

  1. 1

    Call

Describe what you can see and hear. We will tell you how to isolate the supply.

  2. 2

    Attend

We confirm a realistic arrival window before we set off — no vague promises.

  3. 3

    Diagnose

The engineer finds the actual cause, not just the visible symptom.

  4. 4

    Price

You approve the cost before any chargeable work begins.

  5. 5

    Repair

Permanent fix on the visit where possible; safe containment if parts are needed.
